French BBR Festival 14th July

Bastille Day French Market Lunch, Sydney

Happened across this one in front of the office. There’s a whole series of french, belgium, italian, spanish and other cuisines a line of food tents. The one that caught my eye was the crepe stall, co-incidentally also the stall with the longest queue. But it’s warm in the sun on this wintry day so queue we do. And when I get to the front, I order the rather ‘non-french’ duck and hoisin sauce cheese crepe. ┬áThat’s right, mixing melted cheese with peking duck – this might be awful! But somehow it is not, it’s delicious and rich and crunchy – yum!
